I have a heart and it’s just like yours, white, red, pink too!! February 3, 2011

Helping my kids at Nursery school today has got me in the Valentines spirit. I’m putting out the red and pink decorations and can put a heart about anywhere. Got my heart shaped cookies ready and the chocolate dipped pretzels are covered in pretty heart sprinkles. Ok so I can’t eat it all but I’m sure somebody will enjoy a sweet treat from the Sweetzels kitchen.

Don’t think twice send that special person something sweet and of course pretty.

Chocolate Dipped May 9, 2010

Sweetzels is my own guilty pleasure. I have an excuse to be surrounded by loads of chocolate dipped treats. I found some really good chocolate, the best pretzels and put them together. It took just a few tries to perfect the dipping process.  I’m very picky about who is involved in the toppings process. I require as much surface space to be covered in crunchy toffee or coloured sprinkles. At first some think I should put just a little bit on. But as one sweet lover to another, more is better when it comes to chocolate dipped treats!!

I spend a lot of time thinking of different combinations of chocolates and toppings. The imagination can go for days when it comes to dipping into chocolate. I welcome all my friends ideas and try everyone.  My next creation will concentrate on adding peanut butter.  Don’t try to use the peanut butter straight from the jar.  There are a few things you have to add.  But that’s another story!
